About “Casa LL” by RA! — Interceramic Architecture & Interior Design Award 2025 (Winner · Single-Family Residential)
RA! has been awarded the Interceramic Architecture & Interior Design Award 2025 in the Single-Family Residential category for Casa LL. For 14 years, the Interceramic Prize has recognized and promoted architectural and interior design works that best reflect originality, structure, harmony, conceptual clarity, and sustainable thinking across Mexico, Guatemala, and China—encouraging a more just and responsible way of shaping the built environment.
Set beneath the cliffs of the Tepozteco, Casa LL unfolds as a monolithic composition of fragmented prisms that appear carved from the mountain itself. The sequence of narrow passages that open toward a generous garden and panoramic views creates a choreography of compression and release, while materiality and geometry anchor the home to its natural setting. Light, scale, and privacy are orchestrated to produce spaces that feel both intimate and expansive.
This award highlights RA!’s commitment to site-responsive architecture: sculptural yet measured, technically grounded, and emotionally resonant in the way it connects place and inhabitant.

RA! fue reconocido con el Premio Interceramic de Arquitectura e Interiorismo 2025 en la categoría de Residencial Unifamiliar por Casa LL. Desde hace 14 años, este premio distingue y difunde obras que expresan originalidad, composición, estructura, armonía y un pensamiento contemporáneo orientado hacia una arquitectura más justa, sostenible y responsable, convocando a profesionales de México, Guatemala y China.
Bajo las faldas del Tepozteco, Casa LL se configura como un conjunto monolítico de prismas fragmentados que parecen emerger de la propia montaña. El recorrido conduce al visitante de pasajes íntimos a una apertura súbita hacia el jardín y las vistas, mientras su geometría y materialidad equilibran amplitud, refugio y una relación directa con el paisaje. La casa modula luz, escala y privacidad con precisión, generando espacios donde lo natural y lo construido se entrelazan.
Este reconocimiento reafirma la visión de RA! hacia una arquitectura sensible al sitio: escultórica pero serena, funcional en esencia y capaz de generar una resonancia emocional perdurable.
