The AAI Mexico National Prize for Architecture and Interior Design is awarded by the Association of Architects and Interior Designers of Mexico (AAI México). For 15 editions, it has recognized the country’s most outstanding architectural and interior design projects, establishing itself as one of Mexico’s most prestigious architecture awards.
RA! was recognized in the Virtual Single-Family Housing category for "Casa Albor", a residence in Tepoztlán, Morelos, conceived through a sensitive reading of the landscape and a desire to inhabit the territory with restraint and respect. Positioned at the highest point of the site, the house follows the natural slope through an ascending sequence of spaces that dissolves the boundary between architecture and nature, framing views of the valley while creating an atmosphere of contemplation, intimacy, and permanence.
This recognition reinforces RA!’s commitment to designing architecture that emerges from its context, where landscape, materiality, and spatial experience come together to create meaningful places to inhabit.
El Premio Nacional de Arquitectura e Interiorismo AAI México es un galardón otorgado por la Asociación de Arquitectos e Interioristas de México (AAI México). A lo largo de 15 ediciones ha reconocido los proyectos más destacados de arquitectura e interiorismo del país, consolidándose como uno de los premios de mayor prestigio a nivel nacional.
RA! fue reconocido en la categoría Vivienda Unifamiliar Virtual por "Casa Albor", una vivienda ubicada en Tepoztlán, Morelos, concebida a partir de una lectura sensible del paisaje y del deseo de habitar el territorio con mesura y respeto. Situada en el punto más alto del terreno, la casa sigue la pendiente natural mediante un recorrido ascendente que diluye el límite entre arquitectura y naturaleza, enmarcando vistas hacia el valle y construyendo una atmósfera de contemplación, intimidad y permanencia.
Este reconocimiento reafirma el compromiso de RA! con una arquitectura que surge de su contexto, donde el paisaje, la materialidad y la experiencia espacial se integran para crear lugares significativos para habitar.
