This house is designed to integrate seamlessly into its environment, built on a single level to take full advantage of the land. The design creates voids between each block, allowing the natural surroundings to flow freely through the space. The construction system begins by elevating the ground level, forming a platform that seems to float above the earth, which then gives rise to solid volumes that house the bedrooms.

A large roof, supported by wooden pillars, ties each space together, offering protection from both the heat and the rain. The local wood plays a central role in the design, used extensively in the floors, roof, structure, and certain walls, enhancing the natural aesthetics of the house.

The landscape is deeply integrated into the design, with pathways leading through the indigenous vegetation, providing each room with both views and shade, fostering a harmonious connection between the house and its surroundings.

Sobre "Mar del Sol"

Esta casa se desplanta en un solo nivel para aprovechar al máximo el terreno, creando espacios vacíos entre cada bloque que permiten que el entorno natural fluya libremente por el espacio. El sistema constructivo comienza con la elevación del nivel del terreno, generando una plataforma que parece flotar sobre el suelo, dando lugar a los volúmenes sólidos que albergan las recámaras.

Una gran cubierta, apoyada sobre pilares de madera, une cada uno de los espacios, protegiéndolos del calor y la lluvia. La madera local juega un papel fundamental en el proyecto, siendo utilizada en pisos, cubiertas, estructura y algunos muros, aportando una estética natural y cálida a la casa.

El paisaje se integra de manera profunda en el diseño, con recorridos que atraviesan la vegetación endémica, proporcionando a cada habitación vistas y sombra, creando una conexión armónica entre la casa y su entorno.
