Hacienda Wabi emerges as a residential sanctuary, seamlessly interwoven with the lush tropical environment of Tulum. Designed by RA! and promoted by Namus, a developer known for its boutique projects, this building embraces a design philosophy that integrates architecture with the surrounding jungle, making the structure feel as though it naturally evolves with its environment.

The project features a composition of terraces and ascending stairways, creating spaces that seem to age gracefully, embodying the beauty of intentional ruin. "The staggered massing of the volumes evokes the ancient settlements that once inhabited this region, establishing a dialogue between the past and present," the architects explain. This gradual ascent toward the sky maximizes the natural flow of light and ventilation, ensuring that each block receives optimal airflow.

The central courtyard of Hacienda Wabi offers secluded niches and leads to 15 apartments distributed over three levels. Each level offers distinct characteristics—expansive gardens and reflective pools on the ground floor, private terraces and jacuzzis on the intermediate level, and rooftop gardens with panoramic views of the treetop canopy on the uppermost level.

The choice of materials emphasizes local textures, with robust stone used for the foundation and Chukum plaster giving a tactile, organic finish to the upper levels. The restrained color palette harmonizes with the surrounding jungle, blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature. "The vegetation, with its lush growth, becomes an intrinsic part of the architecture, creating an environment where the building and the jungle coexist," the design team adds.

Hacienda Wabi emerge como un santuario residencial, fusionado de manera natural con el entorno selvático de Tulum. Diseñada por RA! y promovida por Namus, una desarrolladora conocida por sus proyectos boutique, esta edificación adopta una filosofía de diseño que integra la arquitectura con la jungla circundante, haciendo que la estructura parezca evolucionar de manera natural con su entorno.

El proyecto presenta una composición de terrazas y escaleras ascendentes, creando espacios que parecen envejecer con gracia, encarnando la belleza de las ruinas intencionales. "El escalonamiento de los volúmenes evoca los antiguos asentamientos que alguna vez habitaron la región, estableciendo un diálogo entre el pasado y el presente," explican los arquitectos. Este ascenso gradual hacia el cielo maximiza el flujo natural de luz y ventilación, asegurando que cada bloque reciba la circulación de aire óptima.

En el corazón del proyecto se encuentra un patio fragmentado, que ofrece rincones privados y da acceso a los 15 departamentos distribuidos en tres niveles. Cada nivel presenta características distintivas: jardines amplios y albercas reflectantes en la planta baja, terrazas privadas y jacuzzis en el nivel intermedio, y roof gardens con vistas panorámicas a la copa de los árboles en el nivel superior.

La elección de materiales resalta las texturas locales, utilizando piedra robusta en el basamento y Chukum en los niveles superiores, lo que da una terminación táctil y orgánica a la edificación. La paleta de colores neutros armoniza con la jungla circundante, difuminando los límites entre la arquitectura y la naturaleza. "La vegetación, con su crecimiento exuberante, se convierte en una parte intrínseca de la arquitectura, creando un entorno donde el edificio y la selva coexisten," añade el equipo de diseño.
