About "Casa Horizonte"
Casa Horizonte was born from a natural fracture in the terrain, transforming a topographic crack into the starting point for an architecture deeply connected to its surroundings. The house unfolds across three levels that follow the descent toward the sea, creating a gradual transition between public and private spaces, between the built and the natural. A linear platform floats above the landscape, embracing the geography and generating shade, while the architectural journey guides the gaze until it reveals the horizon. The rooms, closer to the sea, are arranged around an open central space where nature once again takes center stage. Every design decision, from the frame that captures the ocean view to the fire pit beneath the open sky, is intended to intensify the relationship with the place. The result is a home that not only adapts to the terrain but interprets it and transforms it into experience.
Sobre "Casa Horizonte"
Casa Horizonte, nace de una fractura natural en el terreno, convirtiendo una grieta topográfica en el punto de partida para una arquitectura profundamente conectada con su entorno. La casa se despliega en tres niveles que acompañan el descenso hacia el mar, generando una transición gradual entre lo público y lo privado, entre lo construido y lo natural. Una plataforma lineal flota sobre el paisaje, abrazando la geografía y generando sombra, mientras el recorrido arquitectónico guía la mirada hasta revelar el horizonte. Las habitaciones, más cercanas al mar, se organizan alrededor de un espacio central abierto, donde la naturaleza vuelve a tomar protagonismo. Cada decisión proyectual, desde el marco que enmarca el océano hasta el fire pit bajo el cielo abierto, está pensada para intensificar la relación con el lugar. El resultado es una vivienda que no solo se adapta al terreno, sino que lo interpreta y lo convierte en experiencia.
