About "Casa Albor"
Casa Albor is a private residence located in Tepoztlán, Morelos, conceived through a careful reading of the landscape and a desire to inhabit the territory with restraint and respect. Drawing inspiration from the ancient settlements of the valley, the house rests at the highest point of the site as a quiet gesture of contemplation.
The architecture follows the natural slope of the terrain and unfolds through an ascending sequence that connects interior and exterior spaces. The ground floor opens toward the garden and the surrounding landscape, softening the boundary between inside and outside, while a restrained material palette and controlled openings create an atmosphere of shelter and intimacy.
On the upper level, the main bedroom opens toward the valley, framing views that shift throughout the day with changes in light. Above, the attic becomes a space oriented toward the night sky, conceived for pause and observation.
Rather than imposing itself, "Casa Albor" accompanies the landscape, offering a serene, conscious, and quiet way of inhabiting the place.

Casa Albor es una vivienda ubicada en Tepoztlán, Morelos, concebida a partir de una lectura sensible del paisaje y del deseo de habitar el territorio con mesura y respeto. Inspirada en los antiguos asentamientos del valle, la casa se sitúa en el punto más alto del terreno como un gesto contenido de contemplación.
La arquitectura sigue la pendiente natural del sitio y se despliega a través de un recorrido ascendente que vincula espacios interiores y exteriores. La planta baja se abre hacia el jardín y el paisaje circundante, diluyendo el límite entre dentro y fuera, mientras que una materialidad sobria y aperturas controladas construyen una atmósfera de refugio e intimidad.
En el nivel superior, la recámara principal se orienta hacia el valle, enmarcando vistas que se transforman a lo largo del día con la variación de la luz. Por encima, el ático se concibe como un espacio abierto al cielo nocturno, destinado a la pausa y la contemplación.
Casa Albor no busca imponerse, sino acompañar al paisaje, proponiendo una forma serena, consciente y silenciosa de habitar.
