"Punta Escondida" is a residential development located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, conceived through the design of a comprehensive master plan that integrates urban strategy, beachfront villas, residential towers, and shared amenities within a landscape shaped by the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding jungle.

The project includes eight oceanfront villas, forty-two apartments distributed across fourteen residential towers, and a Casa Club designed to foster community life while maintaining a close relationship with nature. The master plan adapts carefully to the site’s topography, existing vegetation, and open views toward the horizon, allowing architecture and landscape to coexist with minimal intervention.

The villas are defined by inverted gabled roofs that evoke wings in motion, generating shaded spaces and a recognizable silhouette along the coastline. Organized around a central axis, each home incorporates interior gardens, natural ventilation, and framed views that strengthen the connection between indoor living and the surrounding environment.

Positioned behind the villas, the apartment towers reinterpret the same architectural language through a more monolithic and vertical expression. Permeable elements, terraces, and integrated vegetation soften their presence within the terrain while preserving privileged views toward the sea.

At the center of the development, the Casa Club emerges as an extension of the landscape through large concrete walls that open toward the ocean, housing recreational, wellness, and social spaces designed for everyday life by the coast.
More than a residential complex, "Punta Escondida" is conceived as a sanctuary between the sea and the jungle, where architecture follows the rhythm of the land, the vegetation, and the horizon.

"Punta Escondida" es un desarrollo residencial ubicado en Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, México, concebido a partir del diseño de un master plan integral que articula urbanismo, villas frente al mar, torres residenciales y amenidades comunes dentro de un paisaje definido por el Pacífico y la selva circundante.

El proyecto integra ocho villas frente al mar, cuarenta y dos departamentos distribuidos en catorce torres residenciales y una Casa Club pensada para fomentar la vida en comunidad manteniendo una relación cercana con la naturaleza. El plan maestro se adapta cuidadosamente a la topografía del sitio, la vegetación existente y las vistas abiertas hacia el horizonte, permitiendo que arquitectura y paisaje convivan con la menor intervención posible.

Las villas se definen por cubiertas inclinadas invertidas que evocan alas en movimiento, generando espacios de sombra y una silueta reconocible sobre la costa. Organizadas a partir de un eje central, las viviendas incorporan jardines interiores, ventilación natural y vistas enmarcadas que fortalecen la conexión entre el interior y el entorno natural.

Ubicadas detrás de las casas, las torres de departamentos reinterpretan el mismo lenguaje arquitectónico desde una expresión más vertical y monolítica. Elementos permeables, terrazas y vegetación integrada suavizan su presencia dentro del terreno mientras preservan vistas privilegiadas hacia el mar.

En el corazón del desarrollo, la Casa Club emerge como una extensión del paisaje mediante grandes muros de concreto que se abren hacia el océano, albergando espacios recreativos, deportivos y sociales pensados para la vida cotidiana junto a la costa. Más que un conjunto residencial, "Punta Escondida" se concibe como un santuario entre el mar y la selva, donde la arquitectura sigue el ritmo de la tierra, la vegetación y el horizonte.
